I'm back...

Hello, it's me! I've been away. This is the bit where the absentee blogger usually says "I'm soooo sorry - I haven't blogged in ages, I've been so busy!" But I have been busy. Blogging. Loads. Somewhere else.

I have been food 'festivaling', eating, taking loads of gorgeous foodie pics and searching out the best food & producers in the neighborhood. You can read all about it over on the Galway Food Festival blog here. These are a few of my own personal favorite shots from my food festival adventures, recipes for these dishes and others to follow naturally, just watch this space. I will, of course, be sharing with you here all the other tips and tricks that I have picked up along the way, now that the festival is over… until next year anyway!

    1. Do indeed shuffle along if you can drag yourself away from Blogtopia Mise. It is very jolly and while the children took most of the pizza course to thaw out by the time ice-cream and chocolate sauce were introduced they were in the swing of things.

Bring some moist towelettes as there are many fabulous cushions in the House Hotel that need protection.

  6. It's good you are back Amee. I've been away as well and I think I will need some time to get back into regular blogging. And you have been playing with another blog, I would say you are naughty girl, but well you are just a blogger ;)

  7. Where did you get sushi like that in Galway? It looks amazing, and I'm always missing proper sushi here. I've yet to visit RAW (is it open yet?) but I'm keen to get there.

As always, your pics have me drooling...

    1. Wa Cafe down on New Dock Street. They do great bento boxes and take away as well.

RAW is open - and is exactly that raw. So if you have any squeamish people with you there are no cooked options. Also it is on the forth floor of the hotel and a bit of a kerfuffle to get to. It's a bit pricy too.

You can read all about Wa Cafe here.
